Colors
Since the beginning of the engagement, Laura insists that every time she sees something purple, she associates it with getting married to her soul mate. At first, the shade of purple was thought to be a "Mystic Purple" which is a somewhat antique lavender color with silvery gray hues woven in (some say Victorian Lilac). But inevitably, Laura loved those jewel-tone colors, and went for a "Grape" or dark royal purple color for the autumn wedding. Since it is a fall wedding, Laura is interested in bringing in some summer/fall brightness with the flowers by using some reds and yellows.
The cake is being designed by a place called the Knock Shoppe and is sure to be an extravagant touch to the wedding. We can't wait for you to see it!
